Brent Daw is our Head of Landscaping, Structures and Minor Works.  Brent previously worked for Lendlease, managing their open space contract in the Western area for the old Waitakere Council.  He was with the company for 25 years, initially starting up their nursery in Ranui.

Brent's background is in the horticultural field and he has a strong focus on providing a quality service to clients.  Some of the key projects he was part of included the planting of Mangere sewer ponds, landscaping of the Trusts Stadium Waitakere and revegation of the Te Tenga in Waitakere.

Richard Dumiel - City Park Services

With more than 30 years' experience in the horticultural and contracting industry, Richard has an undying passion for delivering high value, quality service to the customer, with a strong focus on providing a safe and healthy environment in which to do so.

Richard has a background in managing contracts across all aspects of outdoor/open space management and currently manages several whole site maintenance contracts and multiple waste contracts.

Madge Wilkinson

Madge has joined City Parks Services as our Transformation & Support Manager, and brings a ‘Continual Service Improvement’ approach to the business. With more than 25 years’ experience as an ICT project manager leading software development and operational support teams, for large multi-national companies, including Bidvest and Walmart, Madge understands the importance of service delivery. Madge is passionate about people and ICT, and is constantly looking at identifying the best of both, to transform business operations. 

Kelvin Kennett

Kelvin has over 30 years’ technical and management experience in the engineering, facilities building and technical services industries. Kelvin provides high level professional leadership, technical knowledge, strategy, governance and relationship capacity to the team.Ensuring our clients' receive a continuous cycle of improvement and evolution, achieved by introducing new technology and processes where applicable, identifying areas for improvements and ensuring that all personnel are well trained and undergo personal development that is applicable and enhances our team delivery. 

David Smellie

David and his team manage all financial oversight of day to day business activities along with commercial support across  City Parks Services various business units.
David has 15 years' experience in financial and commercial roles across the utilities contracting space, and brings strong commercial focus and acumen to City Parks Services financial outcomes.

Vaughan is City Parks Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Manager, he is responsible to refine and develop strategies to ensure we protect our employees, clients and the business moving forward. Having come to City Parks with a strong 25+ year Health & Safety background covering multiple disciplines from Para-medicine, construction, oil & gas, munufacturing, transport & now local government, Vaughan feels that his experience and passion will help guide, support and strengthen the Organisation HSEQ culture.
Vaughan's drive is to be out and about; interacting and with all stakeholders and suppporting the business in its zero harm vision. 

Margot Mortland

Margot has 25+ years’ experience in the property and facilities management industries; and extensive experience in all facets of business, technology and governance. A strong change agent with proven experience delivering business outcomes for both commercial and large local government agencies across people, partners, services, process and technology investments. Stakeholders are informed, proactive and involved, current and knowledgeable.
Politically astute with broad experience working within complex political environments with the ability to frame ideas, influence others, negotiate outcomes and build networks across complex organisational structures. Margot ensures contract transition and change requirements are delivered seamlessly; maximising the contribution of all team members.

Julie Bryington

Julie has 10 years’ experience in horticulture and operations, joining City Parks in 2008. She has experience in project management, operations, HSQE, and Client Support / Contract Management.  Julie has a degree in science and a background in conservation. Her current role is as Client Support Manager across all City Parks’ contracts and her area of specialty is in delivering quality customer service and client liaison.
