City Parks Services prides itself on the standard of maintenance of Auckland's public spaces, including popular sites for a lunchtime break such as the Viaduct and Aotea Square. The cleanliness and tidiness of these spaces is often taken for granted by members of the public. Other popular inner city spaces for city workers include St Patrick's Square, Freyberg Square and Khartoum Place as well as the city's parks. At all these sites our staff provide a strong public interface on behalf of our customers.

We currently maintain all hard surfaces and street gardens within the Auckland CBD, Viaduct Harbour, major commercial centres such as Newmarket, Ponsonby and Parnell and other significant smaller centres throughout the inner west of Auckland, as well as Oneroa Village on Waiheke Island.

Sweeping includes road sweeping, footpath sweeping, and car park sweeping on road edges and in parks, wet and dry footpath scrubbing, gum removal, steam cleaning and street orderly functions. We also collect loose litter across more than 200 hectares of land at Auckland Airport, along 68,000 kilometers of kerb, channel and berm areas and over 613 hectares in central and western parts of Auckland.

City Parks Services also specialises in event clean ups. Most recently we undertook the clean up following the U2 concerts at Mt Smart Stadium.
