City Parks Services staff are proud to care for natural and built environments for the enjoyment of everyone who uses the region's open spaces. We deliver innovative open space management solutions through the quality and experience of our staff - and provide a full range of services to maintain streetscapes, parks, sport fields, public spaces and other open space environments. Services include everything from asset management to wetland restoration, from annual bedding displays to weed control.

A Sports Field Job Well Done
William Hoes from the City Parks Services Turf team is the groundsman at Ken Maunder Park and was recently awarded a trophy from the New Lynn Cricket Club for the ‘most outstanding contribution to the club from a non playing member’ at their annual prize giving this year.
The club members believe the standard of the wickets William produces greatly contributed to the success of the teams this year.

Arterial Routes Project
City Parks Services Landscaping team is currently working on the Tamaki Arterial Routes upgrade project for Housing New Zealand.
This involves the modernisation of 40 homes and the upgrade of 276 properties on arterial routes.
